Dr. Patterson received his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in 1997 and his doctorate from The Illinois College of Optometry in 2001.  He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.  Originally from Cambridge, Dr. Patterson, his wife and two children, have resided in Zanesville since 2001.

Dr. England is a graduate of Zanesville High School and The Ohio State University College of Optometry.  He first established optometry practice in Sandusky County for 12 years before returning to Zanesville in 1978 to continue his father's optometry practice after the elder Dr. England's death.

Dr. England continues to practice on a part-time basis with Dr. Patterson.  He and his wife, Anne, spend most of each winter in Punta Gorda, Florida, and travel extensively throughout the year to visit their three adult children and five grandchildren.
